Had so many great little finds. Everything from metal work to a victrola to ship lamps. It maintained a great selection of pirate related items and other ship fare. I was happy to see it open on a Sunday and it made for a great stop for the day.

Who we are
About Poor Man's Hole
Poor Man's Hole is exactly the kind of shop downtown Swansboro should have — a small, family-owned antique and home goods store packed with pirate-themed pieces, ship lamps, metal work, vintage books, and hand-curated nautical finds. The owner is consistently described as kind and helpful, and the inventory is genuinely unique — the kind of stuff you can't find at a chain or another antique store. Customers come in for a quick browse and end up buying a signed local history book or a vintage victrola. Open Sundays, perfect for a stroll through downtown.
