About Muddy's

Muddy's is more than just great coffee — it's a Jacksonville institution built around community. Retired Gunnery Sergeant 'Muddy' Waters and his wife run the shop with the same care they brought to the Marine Corps, and the plaques of appreciation on the walls tell the story. Customers consistently rave about the freshly roasted beans (sold at the best price around), the fast and friendly service, the warm atmosphere, and food like the chicken salad kids meal that makes you feel like you got a deal. The kind of coffee shop where you walk in once and become a regular. Drop in for a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and a coffee — and stay for the welcome.

Today I decided to try out new local coffee shops when this coffee shop appeared. I was greeted by this lovely couple as soon as I walked in. The sweet cashier was able to recommend some of their flavors. I also ordered a sausage, egg and cheese croissant. Everything was ready 3 minutes after I sat down! First time today! Was greeted right when I walked in Great customer service from the guy! Loved the food and customer service will be returning ! Ps- I ordered a chicken salad kids meal good price for chips drink pickle and sandwich 8$ and very FRESH!
