I'm in town from Oklahoma and this place was suggested by the ladies at Capt Bob's Seafood in Jacksonville. I drove an hour out of my way and 2 hours to my BnB in Oriental - it was worth it! Not only does Magdett and Sons offer fresh, local seafood but they offer a whole range of other foods and products from our fair state of NC. Today we bought shucked oysters and jumbo shrimp, and they were the best we’ve ever had. For real. Take a wild ride to Sneads Ferry. We steamed the shrimp and had broiled oysters as a snack.

Recently stayed in N.Topsail for a month and asked local where to get the freshest shrimp and seafood. They told me about Midgett’s, and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend! Fresh shrimp, scallops, fish, crabs, oysters, produce and so much more! We even got lobster tails that were locally harvested.
